The Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday unveiled its nationwide group’s jersey for the lads’s ICC T20 World Cup, which is slated to start on October 17th.
The brand new jersey is named “Billion Cheers Jersey”, which replaces the pattern-like jersey from the 1992 World Cup that the group wore for the reason that finish of 2020.
The cricket board shared an image of skipper Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah donning the brand new equipment.
It captioned the image: “Presenting the Billion Cheers Jersey! The patterns on the jersey are impressed by the billions of cheers from the followers.”
In one other tweet, the BCCI wrote: “Pushed by the billions of blessings, Crew India is able to placed on the brand new jersey and convey out their A-game.”
“Get able to cheer on #TeamIndia and #ShowYourGame,” he added.
Whereas followers liked their favourite cricketers sporting the brand new equipment, a Twitterati @DennisCricket – recognized for its jokes about cricketers – took a stab on the new equipment.
The journalist shared an image of 5 blue trash cans with the caption “India’s T20 World Cup equipment revealed”.
