A hockey stick and ball have been reinstalled Monday after being stolen from the statue of Pakistani hockey legend Samiullah Khan in Bahawalpur.
The statue was just lately put in within the Chowk Hospital within the hometown of Olympian Bahawalpur. It was put in in honor of the left winger popularly often known as the “Flying Horse” for his electrifying runs on the left flank.
Bahawalpur residents mentioned that just a few days after the Olympian statue was erected, their ball was stolen after which the hockey stick disappeared over the weekend.
The police mentioned {that a} case of theft had been registered on the Cantt police station. The stolen gadgets have since been added again to the statue.
